If you have been eating plain rice every day, then today we are going to share with you the recipe of Corn Fried Rice which will give a new twist in rice, so let’s know its recipe

Necessary Ingredients

For Chutney Paste
Coriander – 4 cup
Garlic – 1 large bud
Ginger – 1-inch piece
Green chili – 2 small
To cook sweet corn rice
Basmati rice – ½ cup
Sweet Corn – 4 cups
Onion – ½ cup
Cinnamon – ½ inch piece
Clove – 2
Bay leaf – 1
Cardamom – 2 small
Garam Masala – 4 tbsp
Coriander Powder – ½ tbsp
Coconut Milk – 1 cup
Salt – as per taste
Oil-style

Method of preparation

To make sweet corn fried rice, firstly chop the onion finely. Now wash the rice well two to three times and soak it in water for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes, add the rice to the sieve and drain all the water.

To make the chutney paste, add green coriander, garlic, ginger, green chilly and a little water to the mixer and grind it smooth. Never keep this paste on the side. Now to make rice, first of all, put a pan on medium flame on the gas and add oil to it and let it heat up.

When the oil is hot, add all the standing spices and fry for 1 minute. Then add chopped onion and salt to it and fry till it becomes soft and golden brown. Now add the chutney paste made into it and mix well, fry for two minutes. Now add sweet corn and coriander powder and garam masala.

Mix it well and fry for two minutes. Then add the soaked rice and cook for two minutes while mixing. Then add coconut milk and mix well. Let it come to a boil. As soon as it comes to a boil, cover it with a lid and slow down the gas completely.

After this, turn off the gas and let it remain for a few minutes without opening the lid. Open the lid after five minutes. Your sweet corn fried rice is ready. Serve it with raita or any sauce of your choice. Serve it hot. You can also serve papad and pickle with it.
